Things To Do In Oceanside

A little bit of paradise, right here in Oceanside with palm-lined beaches, cozy fireplace inn suites with harbor and ocean views, 950 pleasure boat slips, quaint village shopping at resort-style boutiques, top-name restaurants, cafes al fresco, wonderful people, picnicking in park-like greens overlooking the harbor and ocean, strolling or jogging on the 3.7 miles of city beaches and terrific bike trails to explore. A must see would be the farmers market on Thursday afternoons where you can taste a variety of foods from many of the local restaurants and purchase foods from locallly grown organic farmers and listen to local musicians while you stroll through the many venues. For boaters and sportfishers in Oceanside    
There is a fuel dock, four-lane launch ramp, bait receiver, and slip rentals including electricity, water, restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Visiting boaters will find 50 guest slips for short-term mooring. The Oceanside Yacht Club promotes many boating activities for both slip renters and visiting boaters. The Yacht Club welcomes your membership, whether you are a boat owner or just a boating enthusiast.

Stroll and shop in the waterfront Harbor Village shops where you'll find nautical gifts, resort wear, tropical giftware, and souvenirs and mementos of your visit to Oceanside. Pier View South Beach
The beach area south of the Oceanside Pier is Oceanside´s most popular beach. If you don´t mind crowds, you will be comfortable here. Surfing, body boarding and body surfing contests are held at the Oceanside Pier throughout the summer. There are also various events that are held in the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater. The pier itself is a beautiful walk and a popular fishing spot as well.




Harbor Beach
Beautiful Harbor Beach is Oceanside's largest beach, offering everything from surfing to volleyball. The Oceanside Harbor, adjacent to Harbor Beach, has many amenities including the Marina Inn Hotel and a variety of shops. In the harbor, you can sail, spend the day on a deep-sea fishing boat, whale watch, rent kayaks or visit the marina. Fishing is an option from the jetties.
